Solar container deployment process

Manufacturing and technology transfer

The container that supplies solar energy is a recycled container, transformed in France, at ERM Energies.

Depending on the progress of the project, our long-term ambition is to implement a 100% local transformation of the containers dedicated to the workshop, following the schemes designed by the ERM R&D team.

Identification of needs and priorities

Our solution aims to meet the needs of the local population. Before deployment, an in-depth study is being carried out with local stakeholders and international experts. Based on the conclusions, the AppTainer will be equipped with the necessary tools and equipment.

Local deployment and implementation

Transport and logistics to the project site are managed by ERM and its local partners. The installation is then carried out by a local company under the supervision of an ERM expert with the help of the beneficiary community.

Training of users

ERM experts travel to the deployment site to provide the necessary training in the use of solar containers and application containers.

Long-term maintenance and technical support

They are organised and processed by the local ERM workforce or by the local partner’s technical representatives trained by ERM experts.
